Fire Surround Proto-Type

So, I’m making a fire surround for a friend, and as they want it in solid oak, I decided that in order to save mistakes with several hundred pounds of oak I would proto-type it in pine, well worth the £20 for the pine as we were able to make adjustments to it after seeing how it looked in place.

Anyway I thought I would post a picture of the proto-type so you can see the process, I will post a picture of the final thing once I have made it.
